Highlights

  • Pull-out treat compartment: a red ribbon opens it, so refilling takes a second
  • He can smell it but not reach it: that gap is the whole reason he keeps scratching
  • Wear-resistant black grit: peel the panel off and replace it once it goes smooth
  • Three angles, no tools: flat for a Dachshund, raised for a Labrador, changed in seconds
  • Polished edges and anti-slip pads: nothing sharp to catch a paw, and the board stays put while he digs

He hears the clippers and leaves the room. You have tried holding him, tried the grinder, tried one nail a day. This board takes the fight out of it, because he files his own nails and the clippers come out far less often.

The dog nail scratch board hides a treat behind the sandpaper. He can smell it, he cannot reach it, so he scratches. Every pass takes the sharp tip off a nail.

What sits behind the sandpaper:

  • Pull-out treat compartment: a red ribbon opens it, so refilling takes a second
  • He can smell it but not reach it: that gap is the whole reason he keeps scratching
  • Wear-resistant black grit: peel the panel off and replace it once it goes smooth
  • Three angles, no tools: flat for a Dachshund, raised for a Labrador, changed in seconds
  • Polished edges and anti-slip pads: nothing sharp to catch a paw, and the board stays put while he digs

Pull the red ribbon and the compartment opens. Drop a few treats in, close it, and he goes to work thinking he is only earning a snack.

Hidden treat box in three steps: pull the red ribbon, fill the compartment with treats, and let the dog scratch to reach the smell

Sandpaper smooths a little at a time, so there is no quick to hit and no sudden pinch for him to remember.

Regular sessions keep the nails short enough that clipping becomes rare, and it gives him something legitimate to scratch instead of the rug. Dogs whose nails grow very fast may still need an occasional trim.

The frame lies flat, sits at a low angle, or stands at a high one. A Dachshund and a Labrador use the same board the way each of them naturally scratches, and changing the angle takes seconds and no tools.

The three positions of the adjustable board: flat, low angle and high angle, matched to small, medium and large dogs

Natural wood with the edges polished smooth, black wear-resistant grit that peels off for replacement, and anti-slip pads underneath that keep the board still and your floor unmarked.

Getting the size right

One size. The bone shaped board is 13.78 x 9.84 in (35 x 25 cm) and 1.97 in (5 cm) thick lying flat, rising to 10.63 in (27 cm) at the steepest angle.

Flat suits a Dachshund, the high angle suits a Labrador, and the frame changes between the three positions in seconds without tools.

Specifications

  • Board: 13.78 x 9.84 in (35 x 25 cm), bone shaped
  • Thickness flat: 1.97 in (5 cm)
  • Height at the high angle: up to 10.63 in (27 cm)
  • Positions: flat, low angle, high angle
  • Materials: natural wood, black abrasive sandpaper, nylon pull ribbon, anti-slip pads
  • Suits: small, medium and large dogs

Safety note: Supervise the first few sessions and stop if a paw pad looks sore. Sandpaper files the nail tip only; it is not a substitute for a proper trim on badly overgrown nails.

Load the treat box, set the angle he can reach, and let him do the work. The clippers can stay in the drawer most weeks.

Common questions

How often should I use it?
A few minutes two or three times a week keeps most coats in order; during shedding season a short daily session catches the loose undercoat before it reaches the sofa.

How do I clean the tool?
Pull the collected fur off after each use and wipe the tool with a damp cloth. Electrical tools are wiped, never rinsed, unless Specifications says otherwise.

Is it suitable for cats and dogs?
The Suitable for line in Specifications tells you. Most grooming tools work on both as long as the pet is comfortable with the pressure; start gently and keep sessions short.

How long does delivery take?
Orders are processed in 1 to 3 business days and usually arrive in 6 to 12 business days in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, or 7 to 15 business days in Europe. Every order ships tracked and the link comes to your email.

What if it arrives damaged or is not what I ordered?
Email support@noblias.com with a photo within 7 days of delivery and we send a replacement or refund you. Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
