Highlights

  • It doubles as the pillow: high enough for a dog to hook his chin over or a cat to lay her head back on
  • It runs the whole way around: so wherever he settles, there is an edge behind him
  • PP cotton fill: the middle sinks under a curled-up body while the edge keeps its shape instead of flattening
  • Long faux fur, inside and out: the texture cats knead and dogs paw at before they drop
  • Textured non-slip base: it stays put on wood or tile rather than sliding when he climbs in

He turns three circles before he lies down. Then he curls into a ball, tucks his nose under his tail, and pushes his back into whatever is closest. Sleep small, sleep against something. A flat mat gives him nothing to push into.

This cloud shaped plush pet bed is built around what he does next. It's a soft wall to push into, the whole way around, so wherever he lands there is something behind him.

A headrest that runs all the way around:

The edge is also the pillow. It stands up all the way around, which is the part pets go looking for, and it's why they settle here instead of moving on after ten minutes.

It gives way, then holds. The middle sinks under a curled-up body and the edge keeps its shape. Underneath, the textured base stops the bed skating across the room every time he throws himself into it.

Fur long enough to disappear into, on the outside and across the sleeping surface. Cats knead it, dogs dig at it, and both of them work it over a little before they drop. That's the whole point of the texture.

Eleven colors and five sizes. From Light Gray and White Khaki through Navy Gray, Black and Coffee to Pink, Purple and Rainbow, which matters when the bed is going next to your sofa and staying there.

Getting the size right

Check the size chart before ordering. Measure your pet curled up and take the larger size if they fall between two. The edge only works as a headrest if there is room to curl inside it.

Common questions

How do I choose the right size?
Measure your pet lying stretched out, nose to tail, and compare that with the size chart in the product images. If the measurement falls between two sizes, choose the larger one.

How do I wash it?
Follow the care line in Specifications. Most covers go in the machine on a gentle cycle and are air dried; a sponge and mild soap handle small marks between washes.

Will it stay in place on a hard floor?
Check the Specifications for the base material. Where a non-slip base is listed it grips tile and wood; on deep carpet any bed will shift a little.

How long does delivery take?
Orders are processed in 1 to 3 business days and usually arrive in 6 to 12 business days in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, or 7 to 15 business days in Europe. Every order ships tracked and the link comes to your email.

What if it arrives damaged or is not what I ordered?

Overall, this is a really nice pet bed. It's soft and comfortable, but I wish the cushioning was just a bit thicker. Still a great purchase.

Cloud Calming Donut Dog & Cat Bed

The bed is well-made and looks exactly like the pictures. I gave it four stars only because it took a little time to fully fluff up after unpacking.
