The channel runs downward, so water flows into the bowl as the level drops and never runs back up into the bottle. What she drinks gets replaced; what she doesn't stays sealed.

A ring bowl that keeps paws out of the water. The drinking bowl is ring-shaped, so paws can't dip into it, which is one of the main ways water picks up dirt between refills. The flow channel also stops water running back into the bottle.

Is it dishwasher safe?
The care line in Specifications says which parts go in the dishwasher. Silicone and stainless steel parts usually do; electronic bases and pumps are wiped clean.

How often should I clean it?
Rinse food and water bowls daily and give them a proper wash two or three times a week. Fountains and dispensers are cleaned when you change the water or filter.

Which size suits my pet?
Capacity and dimensions are listed in Specifications. A small dog or cat is comfortable with a bowl around two to three cups; larger dogs need more and a wider rim.
