Highlights
She's been at the window all morning, locked onto something she will never reach. One tap of a paw and this one beats its wings and chirps back, right there on the living room floor.
A chirping bird cat toy gives that stare somewhere to go. A touch sensor starts the wings, a speaker plays realistic bird song, and eighteen seconds later it goes quiet and waits until she hits it again.
Touch sensor, bird song and catnip:
Eighteen seconds of flapping and chirping per touch, then silence. That on and off pattern is why it still feels new on day ten.
A toy that runs continuously stops being prey and becomes furniture.
Cats find the bird before they see it. The chirping is the part that gets her off the windowsill and across the floor.
At 8.7 in (22 cm) it's a kicker as much as a chaser. She pulls it into her chest and rakes it with the back legs, the way she would with something she had actually caught.
A zipper in the back holds the motor and the USB port. Unzip it, lift the motor out, and the plush shell goes through the machine, which matters for a toy that gets carried, chewed and slept on.
A blue bird, a sparrow, a penguin and a pink flying pig. Same motor, same chirp, same flap, so choose whichever one you would rather find under the sofa.
Specifications
Safety note: take the motor out before washing and never submerge it. Supervise a hard chewer, and retire the shell once a seam opens.
Charge it once, leave it on the floor by the window, and let her hunt something that finally chirps back.

Is it suitable for strong chewers?
Read the Safety note above. Plush, rope and electronic toys are made for play with you nearby rather than for unsupervised chewing; retire a toy once it is torn or cracked.
Does it need batteries?
Power and charging details, where they apply, are listed in Specifications. Toys without a power line in Specifications have no battery or motor.
How do I keep it clean?
Care is listed in Specifications. Fabric toys are usually hand washed and air dried; electronic toys are wiped with a damp cloth and never submerged.

It's nice to get a toy for a kitty and not require me to hold it. It lights and sounds and really does have its on drive to roll around. My floors are horrible right now so it picks up every speck of dirt and fur. As long as you keep it cleaned it will be fine. The plastic rolling barrier also detaches so you can remove any hair caught in it. I love the interchangeable pieces also. Perfect for a young cat
What a fun and cute toy for my cats. This cat toy is rechargeable via USB A to USB C cord, which is included. It does not come with a wall adapter. It has a charging indicator so you will know when it's done charging. The outside is made of a stuffed toy material. The zipper seems to be well made
My cat loves this thing. Of course, it could be because of the catnip you put in it. When we hear it chirping, we know that he's giving it a smack-down.
I have a cat who is obsessed with moving and chirping toys so this was perfect. He absolutely loves it. My other cat would prefer a real bird, but this will do.
My cat absolutely loves this bird, I unfortunately can’t do the sound it makes for very long. Who’s happiness matters most?
My cats are going insane on these
Overall, this is a top-tier choice for any cat owner looking to spice up their pet's daily routine. The combination of realistic motion and sound creates a truly immersive experience that cats don't seem to tire of. It strikes that rare balance of great price and quality, making it an easy recommendation for kitten owners and senior cat parents alike. If you want to see your cats truly tap into their wild side while staying safely in the living room, this flapping gray bird is the way to go.
My cat loves this bird. It flaps its wings and makes chirping noises. He grabs it holds it to his stomach and kicks it with his back feet. So cute! One day it was dropped in the water and I don't know how long it was in there so I dried it out and recharged it and it still works! I'll probably buy another one since my dog bit the head off of this one but still works
My cat loves this toy and so does my dog sometimes. The noise is not that loud.
It's more fun for the adults. Neither of the two cats care about it. Gave it to the neighbor and their cat is afraid of it. Cool conversation piece though. Does what it says it does. Durable. Well-crafted.
