Retractable Cat Teaser Wand Set with 9 Feather and Worm Refills

Day one she launches herself at the feather. Day three she watches it drift past and goes back to sleep. One feather gets boring fast, and a cat who has decided a toy is dead does not change her mind.

This retractable cat teaser wand set gives you two telescopic wands and nine clip-on lures, five feathers and four worms, each on a bell, so the game changes before your cat loses interest.

What is in the set:

• Two telescopic wands: each extends from 15 inches to 38.9 inches, so you reach across the room without leaving the chair
• Nine lures on bells: five feather and four worm attachments jingle as they move, so the sound starts the chase before the wand does
• Quick-change clasp: lures clip on and off in seconds, so you can swap mid-session when one stops working
• Two spare strings: 23.6 inch replacement strings with clasps are included, so a frayed line doesn't retire the wand
• Flexible rod and foam grip: the three-section rod flexes rather than snapping and the handle is padded, so long sessions are easy on both of you

Rotate the lures. Cats habituate to one toy. Swap a feather for a worm next session and it reads as new prey.

It extends, then disappears. Fully out, the wand covers a wide play area without crouching. Collapsed to 15 inches it lies flat in a drawer.

Two wands, two cats. Two people can play with two cats at once, or one wand stays assembled while the other waits as a backup.

Getting the size right

One size. Each wand collapses to 15 in and extends to 38.9 in, with a 23.6 in string below that. Fully out it reaches across a living room from a seated position, and collapsed it lies flat in a drawer.

Specifications

• Wand length: 15 in collapsed, 38.9 in extended
• String: 23.6 in, two spares with clasps included
• Lures: 9 total, 5 feather and 4 worm, each with a bell
• Grip: Foam handle

• Set weight: Approx. 3.2 oz (91 g)

In the box

• 2 wands, 9 refills, 2 replacement strings

Safety note: Supervise play and put the wand away afterward, so bells, clasps and string are never left with an unattended cat. Replace a lure once it starts shedding feathers, and check the string for fraying between sessions.

Start with the worm. Clip one on, extend the rod from the chair, and the first jingle does the rest.
